My Husband, God's Gift

The Lord has blessed me indeed. I prayed for 26 years that the Lord would give me the perfect man - I admit, sometimes more fervently than other times. Sometimes I thought I knew who that man would be and it turned out that I was wrong. I praise the Lord for the incredible gift He gave me when He put Mike and I together.

We met in Guam, where I worked at Harvest Ministries for 4 years. We had the great opportunity to be friends first for almost 3 1/2 years before we decided to pursue a more serious relationship. We began dating in January of '03, got engaged in May of '03 and were married on July 19th of that same year. I've posted one of our wedding pictures below.

Since that day, I have been humbled to have the privilege to stand beside him. He takes care of me in a way that I never believed I would ever experience. He truly is a gift from God. I look forward to spending the rest of our days together - no matter how long that may be.

You will probably find that many of my posts talk about my wonderful husband - I'm not trying to be disgusting, just sharing what a blessing he is to me on a consistent basis.

Here goes nothing. I am officially entering this new world. Thanks to Jenny for introducing me to it. I couldn't believe how many NBBC people I found quickly just by clicking on links. What a neat way to keep up with friends and see how other people are doing. I'm still trying to get this set up, but I'm sure I'll make progress once I start really playing with it.
